USAMV Cluj-Napoca, represented by Landscape Architecture students, will also be taking part in the 4th edition of the West Side Flower Fest, from 5–7 June 2026. “The G.L.A.S.S. Garden” – the “Story with Flowers” award

USAMV Cluj-Napoca is once again represented this year at the West Side Flower Fest, organised from 5–7 June 2026 by the Bucharest Sector 6 City Council, with the projects “Ițe-mă în brațe” Garden and “G.L.A.S.S. Garden”.
Landscape Architecture students from the Faculty of Horticulture and Rural Development, supervised by Senior Lecturer Dr Răzvan Vasiu, are creating the “Ițe-mă în brațe” Garden, a space and sensory experience that invites visitors to relax, connect and reconnect with nature.

This project, carried out with great passion and creativity by our students, highlights how landscape architecture can transform a space into a memorable emotional and sensory experience.

Our students’ second project is “The G.L.A.S.S. Garden”, coordinated by Associate Professor Denisa Juncan, PhD, and represents a space and a sensory experience where nature is reflected in transparency, light and colour.

This year’s theme at the West Side Flower Festival is “Origins – The Garden of Regions and the Craftsman”, and the festival features 14 original gardens created by students from seven landscape architecture and horticulture faculties across the country.

UPDATE: The “G.L.A.S.S. – Garden of Light” project has won the “Story with Flowers” award. Congratulations!
