TEACHER TRAINING DEPARTMENT (DPPD)
The Teacher Training Department (DPPD) is an important part of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, aiming to provide the psycho-pedagogical training of students and graduates who also want to choose a teaching career/ teaching profession.
The Teacher Training Department currently provides 2 types of academic programs:
– Academic education programs for obtaining Level I certification (initial level) during the first 3 years of university studies. This certification gives graduates the opportunity to become teachers in the mandatory secondary education according to the Romanian education system;
– Postgraduate courses for obtaining Level I and Level II certification (advanced study). This teacher education programs are addressed to graduates with specific bachelor degrees, Level I graduates and/or PhD students who want to teach in high schools or higher education
– Courses for the didactical qualification exams;
– Methodical activities and teacher education programs for pre-university teachers in order to achieve didactic grades: 2nd didactic grade and 1st didactic grade for the following specializations.
DPPD is authorized by ARACIS to issue graduation certificates
DPPD provides annually education to more than 800 students enrolled in all specializations of our university,

In order to perform the administrative tasks and the tasks pertaining to the personal register process, the TTD has its own office (secretary). The office has the personal register regarding the students, the documents and the normative acts with respect to the activity of the TTD, is in charge of the mail regarding the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport, the School Inspectorates and the Teachers’ Training Centers and is also in charge with the office activities (secretary).
